For the TVAA “Menagerie” Exhibition which was juried by Richard Young and Cheryl Shurtleff, I created a new 10′ x 3 1/2′ tarp picada titled “Sss(mmm)sss…”
It is two layers with a white tarp as the top, and a brown tarp beneath it. I cut away the white tarp to create the shape of the snake, and the animals it has “eaten” and then duck taped all the edges and added pattern using Sharpie markers and paint pens.
